Privacy Policy

Excer Global Pvt. Ltd ("Excer Global", "we") is a wholesale supplier of electrical and solar products based at # G01, Phase II, Puzhakkal Industrial Complex, Poonkunnam P.O, Thrissur 680002, Kerala, India. We decide how the personal data described here is used.

• Account details when you register or we open an account for you: name, mobile number, email address, company name, GSTIN, delivery addresses and an optional profile photo.
• Orders and returns: products, quantities, prices, discounts, delivery details, notes you add, and the history of each order.
• Sign-in and security records: one-time codes sent to your mobile number (stored only in scrambled form), sign-in attempts, and the IP address of requests for a code or a password sign-in, used to stop abuse.
• Messages we send you: a record of each WhatsApp notification, including the number it was sent to and whether it was delivered.
• Contact form enquiries: your name, email, phone number and message.
• Usage statistics: pages viewed and page speed, collected without cookies and without identifying you (see section 8).

We do not collect payment card or bank details. Payment does not happen on this site.

• To open and approve your trade account and show you your prices.
• To take, approve, pack, dispatch and deliver your orders, and to handle returns.
• To send you service messages on WhatsApp: sign-in codes, order updates, and security alerts such as a password change.
• To keep our accounting records in our accounting system, including GST records.
• To reply to enquiries you send us.
• To protect accounts and the site from fraud and abuse.
• To understand which pages are used and how fast they load, so we can improve them.

We use your data because you asked us for an account or an order, because the law requires it (for example tax records), or with your consent where that is needed. We do not send marketing messages through this site and we do not sell your data.

Only with service providers who process it for us, and only what they need:

• Vercel hosts the website (servers in Singapore) and provides the cookie-free usage statistics.
• Our database and file storage run on a server we manage, hosted in Malaysia.
• Meta (WhatsApp Business) delivers our WhatsApp messages to your number.
• Inngest runs background tasks such as sending notifications; it briefly handles the order reference, name and number a message is for.
• Our accounting system (Tally), run by Excer Global, receives order, customer and GST details for our books.

We may also disclose data where the law requires it, for example to tax authorities.

Because of where these providers operate, your data is stored and processed outside India, including in Malaysia, Singapore and the United States. We choose providers that protect data to a high standard and use them only for the purposes above.

• Account, order and return records: for as long as you have an account, and afterwards for as long as tax and accounting law requires us to keep business records.
• Sign-in attempt records used for rate limiting: about one hour.
• Contact form enquiries: until they are dealt with and no longer needed.

Connections to the site are encrypted. Sign-in uses one-time codes or passwords with limits on repeated attempts. Staff see only what their role needs, and sensitive administrative actions are logged. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your sign-in details private and tell us straight away if you think your account has been misused.

• Essential cookies keep you signed in, and one remembers that you closed the cookie notice. The site cannot work as expected without them, so they do not need your consent.
• Browser storage remembers small conveniences on your device, such as your cart count and the admin menu layout.
• Usage statistics are collected without cookies and without building a profile of you. Addresses of pages are recorded without any search terms you typed.

We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

You can ask us to:

• tell you what personal data we hold about you and give you a summary of it;
• correct or complete data that is wrong or out of date;
• erase your data, except where the law requires us to keep it (for example records of orders for tax purposes);
• nominate another person to exercise these rights if you are unable to.

You can update most account details yourself under My account. For anything else, write to mail@excerglobal.com. We will reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our reply, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
